Become a member of the Patrons' Circle

Patrons’ Circle members become more closely involved in the work of The Art Fund, while enjoying privileged access to works of art in public and private collections. By making an extra commitment to our work you will be helping save art for the UK’s museums and galleries.

You will have a say in how your money is spent, by voting to allocate your annual contributions towards specific works of art. Patrons’ chosen allocations in 2007 were A View of Chiswick House by Pieter Andreas Rysbrack for Chiswick House, a late 18th-century cabinet containing jigsaw maps for Kew Palace and the Museum of Childhood and Elie Pacot’s Ewer and Basin for the Victoria and Albert Museum.

As a mark of appreciation, your name can also be recorded in our Annual Review and on our website.

Unique programme of annual events

In recognition of your generosity, you will enjoy exclusive tours of museums, galleries and places not usually open to the public. Patrons’ Circle members are invited to private curator-led tours of popular exhibitions and an annual exclusive dinner in a major museum or gallery. They also gain access to private collections, artists’ studios and special events hosted by our Chairman and Director.

Single Patron Circle membership is £1000 a year and double membership is £1,500.
