For Your Eyes Only: Ian Fleming and James Bond

To celebrate the centenary of Ian Fleming’s birth, Imperial War Museum London will launch the first major exhibition devoted to the life and work of the man who created the world’s most famous secret agent, James Bond. The exhibition will examine the extent to which the books and films reflect the reality of the Cold War and how far they were a product of Fleming’s prodigious imagination.

Radical Light: Italy's Divisionist Painters 1892-1910

This exhibition will explore the complex relationship between Italian Divisionism and the emerging Futurist movement in the early years of the 20th century. This exhibition will feature around 60 paintings, including works by the main protagonists of Divisionism: Vittore Grubicy de Dragon, Giovanni Segantini and Gaetano Previati. It will also display works by the Futurist artists Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Gino Severini.

Acclaimed painter and writer, Wyndham Lewis is widely regarded as one of British
Modernism's most controversial and influential figures. Founder of the groundbreaking Vorticist movement in 1914, Lewis was also a prolific portrait painter and this exhibition brings together oil paintings, drawings and works on paper, from 1910 to 1950.

Vanity Fair Portraits

Vintage works from Vanity Fair’s early period (1913 - 1936) are displayed alongside photographs featured in the magazine since its relaunch (1983) to the present day. Those depicted include some of the most influential individuals of the modern age, with sitters ranging from Claude Monet, Amelia Earhart and Jesse Owens, to David Hockney, Arthur Miller and Madonna, and Hollywood luminaries from Charlie Chaplin and Greta Garbo to Jack Nicolson and Julia Roberts.
